(I was going to say this in a series of asks but decided not to because I had no idea how many asks it would take and didn’t want to flood your inbox with my almost screaming)

Okay so I’m having a lot of feelings about neck kisses and I can’t stop thinking about how neck kisses would be something that werewolves would be a little weird about because hey those are TEETH near the THROAT and whatnot and how Derek letting Stiles kiss his neck is kind of a huge thing for both of them because Derek still sometimes has trouble trusting people to not screw him over and hurt him and Stiles has trouble even trusting himself sometimes because of how many people have outright said they don’t trust him (even his own father, I mean, come on) and so when Stiles kisses Derek’s neck the first time and Derek just kind of stops Stiles is immediately like OMG I FUCKED UP OH SHIT SO SORRY GOT A LITTLE CARRIED AWAY because he knows that werewolves are very particular about who they let anywhere near such a vulnerable spot and while Stiles is freaking out Derek is also freaking out a bit because wow here’s somebody that he actually seems to trust enough for that and he’s really not used to it, to be completely honest. The last person Derek let do that burned his family so he has never let anyone else in that much, and yet he’s so comfortable and feels so safe with Stiles that it’s like it’s no big deal when, for Derek, it kind of is. And Stiles is flipping out because he knows how Derek is about that stuff, how he’s getting better with trusting the pack and trusting other people to not completely fuck him over but this is different, you know? And he’s thrown through a loop when Derek tells him to do it again and when he hesitates Derek lifts his chin and a soft “please” makes him slowly place his lips on Derek’s throat. And when Derek kind of whimpers a bit he stops, but Derek says “again” and Stiles is like “you sure?” and Derek is so sure and tells him “I trust you” and Stiles’ brain kind of shuts off after that and they don’t even have sex that night. It’s mostly spent with Stiles mouthing at Derek’s neck because Derek seems to really like it (and let’s be real here, Stiles really likes it) and Stiles is just amazed by the fact that Derek trusts him like that, like yeah they trust each other when it comes to fighting supernatural baddies but this is different. This is like Derek trusting Stiles with himself, he’s letting Stiles in, and that fact just amazes Stiles.

And later they have a serious discussion about how much Derek does trust Stiles because seriously the boy has some issues when it comes to accepting that people do trust him. (And after all this the neck kissing really becomes a ~thing~ for them and it’s totally not weird to get turned on just from a kiss on the neck, it’s not weird at all.)

So here have these feels. I am now glad I did not try to send this in a series of asks~
